With spring trying to make its move, I find myself still wearing coats many days. One favorite is my orange J.Crew peacoat, so I loved this street style look from Who What Wear this week. What a lovely nod to spring to wear a brightly colored coat and shake off the rainy blues. And I love the way she is all layered up too with the scarf and sweater.

The Selby Is In Dorothee's Place
I faithfully read the Selby with each new post that he does. I love getting his emails of what's next, whose life he is featuring this time. Recently he did a fantastic piece about Dorothee Schumacher's home in Germany. Dorothee is a designer that was unknown to me, and I am so glad I looked at these beautiful pictures of her home and her collection.
At the end of every look inside someone's home or life on The Selby, he always asks a few questions. I particularly loved Dorothee's responses to his question, "What is your advice to young designers?" She said, "Go with your heart, trust your feeling. Not possible is not possible."

In Search of: New Sunnies
With spring right around the corner (wishin' and hopin'), I can't help but want new sunglasses. While I love my tried and true Chanels and my go-to navy Chloe pair, it's always fun to break in the new season with something new. Here are a few on my list.
Aviators in my signature color - thank you Kate Spade!
Ray Bans in an oversized cat eye style - love the twist.
Perfect for shielding my eyes from the paparazzi. Love these oversized frames from Elizabeth and James.
Last but not least, vintage Gucci. Nuff said.

My Favorite Neighborhood Shop
When I moved to Bernal Heights last year, I was excited to explore the new hood and check out the shops. I definitely have my favorites now, and the boutique I like best is Heartfelt. It's the cutest little shop on Cortland Street - a great place to buy cards and wrapping paper, but also where I find I buy so many birthday gifts now. From vintage aprons to kitchen supplies to fun socks, they have a variety of fun things for you or anyone you are buying for. I also love the kids section in the back - I bought cute Christmas gifts there for all the little girls in my family. Take a peek...
Other favorites in my neighborhood: Sandbox Bakery, Red Hill bookstore, Avedano's Butcher Shop (for meat and fish), the wine bar at Liberty Cafe, Moki's for sushi, and local bar Lucky Horseshoe. Also on the other side of the hill, check out Precita Park Cafe... it's my new favorite spot for brunch!

Friday's Favorite Look 3.23
I love a LWD and this one is perfection on Nicole Richie. This image from C Magazine was so great, I couldn't resist making it today's look. The gorgeous white dress is by Max Mara, the clutch is Tom Ford. And the bangs are fantastic too... if only my hair would do that!

Burberry's Spring Campaign
I am loving the new spring campaign from Burberry. I keep seeing the ads all over every magazine, featuring the gorgeous Cara Delevingne and Eddie Redmayne (brilliant in My Week with Marilyn).
I love their facial expressions in the images - don't they look like they are having so much fun?? And of course I love the handbags that Cara is carrying throughout the campaign... such amazing detail on every one of them.

Florals
What says spring more than flowers?? After all this rain, I am definitely ready for some spring weather. I have really been feeling florals as the new print for spring... here are some pins and ideas that I found to celebrate flowers. I also love that many of these looks mix florals together and sometimes mix them with other prints. It's bold but fun. And the first dress is one that I have been coveting... must get it!

SF Made
Have you seen the SF Made shop at Banana Republic? SF Made is a local organization that is all about supporting businesses that make things here in San Francisco. Their mission is to build and support a vibrant manufacturing sector in SF, that sustains companies producing locally-made products, encourages entrepreneurship and innovation, and creates employment opportunities for a diverse local workforce. And BR has been partnering with them to help showcase these companies. During the holidays, they debuted this shop with local companies that make chocolate, body products, notecards, and more, and since it was such a success they are back with a spring iteration. I was at BR shopping yesterday and loved the companies they chose to feature.
The entryway to the SF Made shop at BR - love the SF skyline!
Another view of the entryway, featuring a display of body products by Etta and Billie.
Gorgeous fresh flowers - I couldn't resist buying a bunch!
Hilside bags - love the colors and prints
These succulent terrariums were great and I loved the hanging display
Dog supplies by Blueblood
Be sure to stop into BR to check out this shop - it's a really great way to get to know some new local companies and help support local businesses.

Friday's Favorite Look 3.16
I just have to say that I am so excited for next weekend's premiere of the "Hunger Games" movie! I read all 3 books this summer, and cannot wait to see them on screen. And I was thrilled when they announced that Jennifer Lawrence was going to play the leading role of Katniss. Having seen her in a few roles previously, I think she is perfect for the part. I love that even though she can play understated and gritty, she also has a glam side too... evidenced by this fabulous gold dress! Jennifer wore this custom Ralph Lauren gown to the London premiere of the film this week. Time to get my tickets for next weekend!

Nude and Brights
I love a new color combo and combining nudes with brights is feeling so fresh for spring. As some people know, Loeffler Randall is one of my all-time favorite shoe brands (I am wearing their boots as I write this!) and of course they hit this trend on the head in their spring line. See for yourselves...
I think I must have them all!
