There were a lot of great finds: vintage champagne glasses, lots of unique jewelry (old and new), kitchen and housewares, and art. We found a really cool old San Francisco map laminated onto recycled wood that is now hanging in our dining room! And you know that lawn I mentioned above? Well, that's where the food trucks are. One of my favorite trucks, Curry Up Now, was there and I knew that would be my lunch. It was lovely to take a rest from walking the market to enjoy the weather on the lawn. I love that Treasure Island gives you views of the city that you don't usually see. I couldn't resist taking lots of pics! I highly recommend that you check out the TI Flea!

Treasure Island Flea Market
On Saturday I had an adventure going over to the Treasure Island Flea Market. I had never been to Treasure Island before, just had seen it from afar from the city and the Bay Bridge. The flea market was an excellent excuse to go. For anyone that has been to the Alameda Flea Market (the mother of all fleas), this is similar in offering but a lot smaller. I loved the location, with beautiful palm trees and a great view of the city. There is also a lawn where we ate lunch and enjoyed the weather, but a little more on that later. Here are some pics of the flea and our day.

Friday's Favorite Look 4.27
Today's look has me wondering, "Is it easier to mix prints with different pieces in your look, or just mix them all in one dress?" I love this mixed print dress on Michelle Williams - definitely a risk, but definitely paying off. This Giambattista Valli dress suits her frame perfectly and the simple styling is just right back to such a statement dress. What a lovely way to mix prints!

DVF Loves Current/Elliott
Did you know that Diane von Furstenberg has recently partnered with Current/Elliott on a capsule denim collection, featured on Shopbop? Isn't that a fantastic sentence... In the midst of a big printed denim trend, these denim styles are right on track, featuring Diane's vintage prints.
I also really enjoyed the styling of this lookbook, with the floral wallpaper in the background, and the denim styled back to DVR tops and shoes. Hmmm, now which piece to buy??

Bike Riding
I hope you all enjoyed the bee-you-tee-ful weather this weekend! I know I did. One activity that I have really been into now that it's nice weather is riding my bike. And so because of that, I was super inspired by these great bike-riding looks. It's fun to see people's outfits in a different setting, and it makes me excited to try out some new looks of my own (while riding my bike)!
That last one's my fave... I love riding a bike in a skirt and the color is just so fabulous. It's kind of a trick though - you can't have a skirt that's too long or too short!

Friday's Favorite Look 4.20
I couldn't let this week go by without a mention of Coachella - I always love the fun, summery festival fashion that comes out of it. And this year, it's two weekends instead of one, so I am sure it's double the looks! And because I didn't get a look up last Friday, this week you get two!
The striped pants make the look in the first pic - I also love the layered necklaces and crossbody bag. I love the feminine ease of the second look - gorgeous Dolce Vita top with cutoff shorts and cute suede booties.

Healdsburg Weekend
Last weekend, I spent a delightful weekend away with my boyfriend in Healdsburg. I hadn't spend much time there, and I came away totally in love with this little town. Here are a few snaps from our weekend.
A few recommendations: stay at the Duchamp Hotel (great poolside villas); eat at Scopa, Cyrus, and Barndiva; visit fantastic wineries like Medlock Ames, Sbragia, Truett Hurst, and Longboard.

Orange Wedge
What's better than shoes in your favorite color? Nothing, I say! I absolutely love these orange wedge sandals from Loeffler Randall. I feel like they were made for me - I love the midheel height and the super strappy look. I am already planning the outfits they will go with.

Convert Shoes Opening Party
Last Wednesday I was so excited to attend the opening party for a fabulous new shoe store in Berkeley. I know - shocking that I left the city during the week. But it was well worth it - I met up with my good friend Amy and we headed over to see the shoes. The Convert store event was hosted by 3 fantastic bloggers, Anne, Krystal, and Erica. I also was excited to see the Jeffrey Campbell line that was specifically created for Convert. I really liked their shoe assortment overall - a great mix of known and unknown lines, as well as natural materials and recycled leather.

Even my boyfriend got some shoes - I came home with this pair for him!
I definitely recommend that you check out Convert shoes. And don't forget that they also have a clothing store across the street - both are on 4th St. in Berkeley.
